A Natural Approach to Improved Health

Using massage therapy to help you take charge of your health and take back your life!

Melissa A. Bailey - Licensed Massage Therapist
  • Melissa A. Bailey, Licensed Massage Therapist #12353

  • National Certification Therapeutic Massage

Located in beautiful Southern Oregon, I have enjoyed over 9 years as a massage therapist and I feel fortunate to have found work I love! I chose this career path because it fits into who I am and my life beliefs – that people should be able to feel good inside and out – every day. However, many of us have a hard time doing so due to work, family, daily stress and various outside factors. I firmly believe massage and bodywork can help to correct many of those problems.

As a natural-born caregiver, I am passionate about helping others to feel their best both in body and mind through my caring, compassionate touch. My goal is to help relieve the daily aches and pains that are troubling you so you can feel refreshed and rejuvenated to keep on going in a positive direction. I feel massage is an entire body experience. Not only does massage therapy help to relieve muscle pain, it helps to cleanse your body of impurities, improving your circulation, digestion, and posture while reducing stress and anxiety levels, leaving you with less tension and headaches and a more positive outlook on life.

These, of course, are just a few of the many benefits massage has to offer. Please take a look around. There is plenty of great information to better help you understand why I love to do what I do. And of course, if you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! The better informed we are, the healthier we can be!

Best Wishes,

Melissa

My passion for health and well-being paired with holistic beliefs led me to my career as a massage therapist. Inspiration sparked from receiving bodywork and admiring practitioners from both my friend circle and from therapists I’ve encountered throughout my travels. In June of 2019, I completed Ashland Institute of Massage’s 725 hour program. Since graduation, I have cultivated a practice that integrates Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Neuromuscular Therapy to provide a truly therapeutic experience for the mind, body, and soul. When I am not massaging, I enjoy adventuring with my dog, yoga, traveling, and eating healthy foods from many different ethnicities.

I grew up in Southern Oregon and this is where my heart belongs. I am passionate about the outdoors and natural healing. I am energetic and love bringing positive energy. My goal in massage therapy is to facilitate a healing process for those who seek optimal wellness. I want to bring awareness to the body while also reducing pain and stress. I have always been passionate and curious about the human body and what it is capable of. This is why I decided to become a massage therapist – it’s not just a career, but a love and desire to help others.

Graduating from RCC in 2019, I started building my massage career and skills primarily in a chiropractic setting. Being able to work closely with specific issues and seeing significant improvements in my clients’ general health remains one of the most rewarding aspects of being a massage therapist. I am well-versed in deep tissue therapy, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Outside of work, I enjoy culinary arts, travel, and learning about culture, psychology and sociology

Should You Receive a Massage?

Care of one’s body deserves a spot be at the top of everyone’s priority list. People will look and feel better if they take the necessary steps in regards to health and nutrition. Stress and tension relief on it’s own improves vitality and your state of mind. Massage therapy and bodywork can play an important role in your life.

Massage, Now More Than Ever

Massage and bodywork can play a key role in reducing stress and reinforcing good health. When people are feeling their best they are much more likely to be up to the challenges that difficult times can present. With greater peace of mind and better health people can face life’s hurdles with ease, strengthened emotional reserves and clarity of purpose.

Touch, a Powerful Ally

There’s simply no denying the power of massage. Regardless of the words we use to describe it (therapeutic, rejuvenating, pampering) or the individual reasons we may seek it out; for pain management, stress relief or simply a luxurious treat, massage can be quite the powerful ally in one’s healthcare regimen.

Let’s Hear What Some Recent Clients Had to Say!

I had quite possibly the most therapeutic, constructive, healing… let’s just say, one of the best massage experiences of my life with Wendy, she was amazing.  She found spots on me that needed work that I didn’t realize I had.  It was the most productive 90 minutes I have had on a massage table that I can remember.  I’m so glad that I found your place up in Grants Pass –  Thanks again, and I hope that your business flourishes!

Melissa is exceptional at her craft. She is intuitive, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I’ve had low back issues for years and I walked out of my appointment feeling great. She gave me some great advice on stretching routines and most importantly she is a wonderful massage therapist. Very professional, cordial, and inviting atmosphere so that you can relax.
